18TH CENTURY PERCUSSION PISTOL

Ref: 47-1110 Categories ,

Kolser crafts this beautiful replica of an 18th-century percussion pistol, a type that was widely popular across European kingdoms and empires. Kolser preserves the original style and form of this elegant percussion weapon, measuring 30 centimetres and made from resin and silver-toned metal.

This type of weapon was mostly used in duels such as first shot, first blood or the famous duel to the death.

These weapons were designed to act as an extension of the duellist’s arm, and were especially popular among the French and Belgians. It is a splendid piece that, when held, makes you feel like one of those noblemen who defended their honour through duels.
