This last stage of the Middle Ages characterized these daggers by having a wide quillon, measuring 24.5 cm, with a magnificent engraving on the hilt that makes it easier to grip. Kolser frames the Byzantine metallurgical art with a beautiful mosaic engraved on the dagger’s blade. This dagger is made entirely of metal with antiqued details.
