Magnificent replica of the cadet sword of the Duke of Alba (Fernando Álvarez de Toledo). This type of sword was used during the battles against Protestant forces in the Low Countries, where the Council of Troubles was established, and in the campaigns of Philip II and Charles V. It played a key role during the Inquisition and in the Church’s battles against heresy. Kolser presents this beautiful sword made entirely of metal, featuring a circular pommel engraved with a coat of arms, and a guard decorated with the House of Alba’s heraldry. The sword measures 57 cm.
