The sword of Alfonso X<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Alfonso X the Wise was one of the most important monarchs of the period associated with the Reconquista. His cadet sword is made entirely of metal and features a grip inspired by medieval styling, with a diamond-shaped pommel and Christian cross motifs at the tip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tizona<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rodrigo D\u00edaz de Vivar is one of the most important figures of medieval Spain. Popular poetry and epic literature preserve many stories associated with this famous warrior. Tradition tells us that El Cid Campeador rode his horse Babieca while wielding the legendary sword Tizona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This weapon is particularly long, measuring approximately 57 centimetres. Made entirely of metal, it remains one of the best-known swords associated with Spanish medieval history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
