Magnificent replica of the Duke of Alba, (Fernando Alvarez de Toledo) cadet sword. This type of sword was used in the struggles against the Protestants in the Netherlands where the court of the Tumults was instituted, and in the campaigns of Philip II and Charles V. This sword played an important role in the inquisition and in the church's battles against heresy. Kolser elaborates this beautiful sword entirely in metal with a circular pommel engraved with a shield. Its hilt has the House of Alba coat of arms. The sword is 57 cm long.
